Fountain of Youth

The Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park is a fun, family friendly attraction where guests can learn all about Ponce de Leon and the early Spanish settlers that arrived in the 16th century. The site sits on 15 acres of intracoastal, waterfront property where the native Timucuans had settled for more than 3,000 years!

The site features an active archaeological dig site, several recreated Spanish and Timucuan buildings, an observation tower, a riverwalk and loads of beautiful scenery. Don't forget to stop by The Spring House and take a sip from the natural spring that was Ponce de Leon's legendary Fountain of Youth! There's plenty of free parking and the park is a 12 min drive away from The Salty Pineapple.
